Stolberg project bathroom
Design, modelling, lighting and rendering: Rina Osipova
Software: 3ds max, Corona Renderer, Photoshop
Project type: CGI interior visualisation study
This project began as a quiet interior study built around muted light, tactile surfaces and small personal details. I wanted the space to feel calm, slightly nostalgic and intimate — like a room where every object has its own silent presence.
The composition combines rough plaster, soft textile folds, handmade-looking tiles, aged ceramic surfaces and dark wood. The dining area is intentionally minimal, but the details add character: the Ready Dining Chair by Audo Copenhagen, the delicate Flensted Mobile Counterpoint Natural 154AN, candles, small table objects and custom tile accents.
One of the most personal parts of the project is the backsplash tile detail near the sink. The drawings on several tiles were made by my 6-year-old daughter, and I integrated them into the CGI scene as small handmade marks within the interior. This made the project feel less like a staged render and more like a lived-in space with a quiet story behind it.
The project explores the balance between refined design and imperfect human traces — a soft contrast between architectural stillness and personal memory.

This project is a quiet study of a bathroom interior, built around a muted palette, soft natural light, and tactile materials. The space is shaped by the contrast between rough plaster, matte tile, a transparent plastic curtain, dark metal, and warm wooden details.
I wanted to create a bathroom that feels less sterile and more atmospheric — a calm, slightly cinematic space with the feeling of morning light, damp surfaces, everyday rituals, and small imperfect details.
The mirror and vanity unit were custom designed specifically for this project. Their restrained geometry and dark surfaces help define the architectural character of the space, adding depth and a more personal design language to the bathroom.
The sink is Lavandino Lavabo by Antonio Lupi. Its sculptural simplicity works as a strong focal point, balancing the roughness of the surrounding textures with a clean and refined silhouette.
The small table is Coffee Table Chalon by Kelly Wearstler. It adds a softer, furniture-like presence to the bathroom and creates a quiet contrast with the more utilitarian elements of the space.
The toilet is Astra WC by Ceramica Flaminia, paired with a flush plate by CEA. These details were chosen for their minimal, understated design and their ability to support the overall calm and architectural mood of the interior.
Special attention is given to close-up views: the wall texture, water, ceramics, textiles, small objects near the sink, and soft reflections on the transparent curtain. These elements make the scene feel more lived-in and add a quiet sense of presence.

All CGI images, custom modeling, post-production, character integration, object additions, and video materials were created as part of my personal visualisation workflow.
